Customer focused excellent hospitality with quality food

Having much travel and a love of Indian food, I can say that there are around 5 restaurants in greater Brisbane that I would consider to be excellent purveyors of authentic Indian cuisine, and the new Desi Junction is an exciting addition to the list! I am not well known for good reviews but Logan community locals, Chef Baljeet and her husband - our host, Robin have set up in Woodridge to deliver great food from the heart. Not only that, but it is affordable, starting with the $7.99 lunch menu. As a new restaurant to the area, they have carefully selected items to cater to all tastes, including vegetarian of course, with a plan to extend the menu as they become more established. We had the goat curry (hard to find anywhere) and the signature butter chicken and went home very satisfied with taste buds "a poppin". Service from the friendly staff was better than the Ritz in London in my experience. Atmosphere only got 4/5 because this place would suit being filled up with a bustling, energetic crowd, romantic couples and a live violin and bongo - pumping out Bollywood tunes! Mind you, we were only there on a Thursday night and they have only been open a short time. Given half a chance, Desi Junction could be a place to mark on your food map and even consider for booking for weddings, parties or similar, as this establishment is very large and well suited for everything. Enough from me. Go there, try the food, experience the service, and support a good, honest restaurant that is filling a very lacking space in Brisbane, let alone Logan. You will not walk away disappointed.
